Office News –September 2010
Please join us by celebrating God’s leading in our life.
May you be enriched by our update. God is going before us,
providing and supplying all of our needs.
September 12, 2010 we pick up the moving truck and with many
reluctant volunteers pack up house and home and head down to
Arizona to our new home and office September 13th. A few months
ago we set a possible moving date in late October. God knew that
he wanted us down there earlier.
The Modular house we currently have an accepted bid on will not
close Escrow till September 24nd. Yet, we will not be
homeless. Our new friend in Payson has opened her cabin to us to
stay for free as long as we like and as long as we need it. We
offered to pay her
rent or utilities, but she does not want to hear about it. So we
are grateful in our hearts for this provision.
The Modular home has two areas of concern and we as the buyer
ask the seller to fix these concerns. If the home is ours to be,
depends on the response of the seller. The inspector found the
roof to be in much needed repair, so the roof may need to be
replaced. Second he found that some of the skirting of the
Modular home has rotted, due to poor drainage (will be fixed to
prevent that in the future). We are not certain if the seller is
willing to take on the expense to fix these problem areas, but
we are resting in God how he will work it all out.
The last time we were in Arizona, we begun painting our office,
set up bank accounts, renewed our license and registrations for
our vehicles, got Arizona drivers license and met wonderful
people who are God’s servants in the city. We are now considered
“Arizonans”…Wow!!
Our friend invited us to attend her home Bible study group and
we gladly accepted. We spent an awesome evening with folks who
love God, share a meal and function as the true family of God.
We felt immediately welcome and it seemed we always belonged to
that group. We are looking forward to becoming a permanent part
of this group.
Again we attended our new Church “Mountain Bible” and the Pastor
rejoiced with us that we would be coming to Payson soon. It will
be great to just begin where we left off. A church home and a
Bible Study.
Please include us in your prayers as we move heavy things and
drive the 15 hours to Payson with cat and dog. Pray
for the finances to last and the vehicle to truck along. We
appreciate you our family. The next time I write to you, it will
be from Payson, AZ
