for the months of

October, November & December, 2011

Our message to you is so close to our heart that we will leave this posting for the months of October, November and December. These next few months are difficult months for many of you and these months are also opportunities for the enemy to come to you in his deceptive ways. Thank you for allowing us to come into your lives and share with you what is on our hearts.

With the following message we would like to encourage you to read our quarterly Testimony, also found on this website. The testimony posted is entitled “Bondage to the Enemy” we would like to encourage you to read it in conjunction with this update.

The message God wants us to share with you is “Satan and his Agenda”.

The enemy of God, (Satan) and now our enemy, is busy and he has a clear agenda. John 10:10 “The Thief (Jesus could have been refering to the Thief as being Satan) comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.”

1.    First the “Thief” wants to steal from you. Take away from you; put you on his path…. How does he do that, you might ask?

     One way he deceives you is by making you believe Negative Thoughts. Look at the following list and check yourself. Have you ever experienced any of these thoughts?

·         I am unloved……nobody wants me.

·         I am worthless…….I feel rejected by everybody.

·         I have nothing to offer…..I am stupid, dumb.

·         I am a failure…….I will never amount to anything.

·         God cares about everybody else but me …..He does not love me.

 

     The enemy not only steals from you through making you believe the lie of Negative Thoughts, but whatever you are willing to give to him, that can be useful in his hands.

     It is “us” who freely gives ammunition to the Enemy to make us slaves to his bidding.

     Jesus sets us free, by offering us the free gift of salvation. If you have come to Jesus and accepted this free gift of salvation, by inviting Jesus to come into your heart. You are now a son or daughter of the King.

     Listen to the instructions of the Holy Spirit to guide you into this new life and don’t listen to the enemy. Ask Jesus if these lies are true of you. Ask Him:

 

·         Jesus what do you say of me? Am I unloved? Do you love me? Do you want me? Jesus will speak to your heart and confirm that you are HIS BELOVED.

·         Jesus I feel so worthless and rejected. Do you reject me? Do I have worth in your eyes? Yes, my child I gave my life for you, because you are precious to me.

·         Jesus all my life I believed the lie that I have nothing to offer, that I am stupid, is that true? No, my child, you are beautiful and wonderfully made. I love you so much that I gave my life for you.

·         Jesus often I feel forgotten by you, that you don’t love me, is that true? I have written your name in the palm of my hand, you are that close to me. I never sleep or slumber.

 

     The enemy always has a way of packaging his goods in a very attractive way. Resist him and flee. Call out to Jesus and run to him, he is always there for you.

2.    Second the “Thief” wants to kill you. Make you ineffective. Destroy your testimony as a believer………How does he do that, you might ask?

 

     By using any Un-confessed sins in your life. For instance, Negative Thoughts (lies you believed); Pride (focus on yourself), Rebellion (defying authority in your life), Moral Failure (sexual sins that violate God’s moral principals), Occultic Activities (participating in enemy related activities) and many more that you have participated in or are presently involved with. He wants to ensnared you and trap so you develop an addiction to whatever. Read the following and honestly evaluate yourself:

 

·         Are you stuck in Lust? – Immoral activities

·         Do you struggle each day with guilt? – unresolved past failures

·         Do you hold on to Bitterness in your heart – anger, resentment,unforgiveness

·         Is Depression pushing you down in a deep hole of despair? – feel overwhelmed, hopeless?

 

     You and I are saved by Grace, yet we are still struggling each and every day with our sin nature and the enemy knows it very well.

     It is the enemy’s desire to use these un-confessed sins in your life to kill….take you out of the game of reaching others for the kingdom of God.

     If you find yourself:

 

·         Struggling with Lust, practicing immoral activities….freedom is only a step away by coming to Jesus and renounce your sinful involvement, ask him to break that involvement in your life and ask Jesus to take back the ground that you had given to the enemy.

·         Is the guilt of unresolved past failure a constant companion in your life….Speak to Jesus about it. Bring it to him and let him free you of the shackles of guilt.

·         Has Bitterness taken root in your heart? Have you made a vow never to forgive that person for what they have done? Go back to the cross when Jesus lay down on the cross and the soldiers nailed the Creator of the Universe the Son of God to a cruel cross. Listen as Jesus speaks: “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” Jesus did not wait till these people asked him for forgiveness, he gave forgiveness first. Can we do less?

·         Are you weighted down with Depression, life is unbearable? Run to Jesus, tell him to hold you, ask him to pour his peace and love into your heart right now. Bring him into the loneliness of your heart.

 

     The enemy is in the destruction business. God is in the construction business. Trust God and lean on His understanding.

3.    The “Thief” wants to destroy you. Take you completely out. How many of God’s children have lost their life through suicide? Given up? How many are living a life in deep addiction? All because the enemy has won. ….How does he do that, you might ask?

 

     Satan is not satisfied to steal from you or even to kill you. He will only be satisfied if he has destroyed you. You see he has no love for anybody.

     We relinquish control to his power and all the while we cooperate with him and give him permission.

     Satan places temptations and thoughts into our minds and we choose to either follow or resist him.

     Yielding to temptations is sin and we actually give Satan permission to control that area in our life. He will take that sin and if not dealt with, will destroy us with it.

     Eventually sinful practices, sinful patterns are established, entrap us to continue in that sin. Paul warned us not to let sin reign (have control, dominion) over us.

     God gave each of us free will, so each of us must choose.

     Have you chosen your path?

 

·         To engage in the sinful practice of Lying?

·         Is your speech corrupt and laced with un-holy profanity?

·         Does revenge and getting even with the person who has hurt you, seem to consume you?

·         Are you addicted to pornography and other immoral practices?

 

     The enemy is a “Master-Timer”. He will wait and take the most opportune time in your life to destroy you.

     Satan’s agenda is to destroy you and everybody he can. He will use whatever, whoever to get the job done.

     You really believe you are in control??? Think again.

     Anytime, no matter what condition you are in, come to Jesus.

 

·         Victory from the enslavement of sin and the enemy is possible by following these steps:

·         Separation from sin.

·         Intimacy with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

·         Resisting the Devil. (please see Testimony page….end paragraph of testimony)

·         Yield your life completely to Jesus.

·         Being filled with the Holy Spirit. (controlled by him)

·         The Word of God

 

     These are just a few steps that bring you back on the path of Righteous living.

     God is waiting for you to come. Let him restore you and bring you back into his fold.

     He loves you so much. His arms are open….always no matter what you have done or where you have been.

     Let the peace of Jesus shine into every area of your pain.
