Marriage Education Workshops

Building Healthy Marriages is designed to help couples to stay the course for a happy Marriage. Workshops will help you:

• Understand marriage (how to build a team)
• Understand how you can handle conflict by applying tools & skills
• Know how to create intimacy by being connected with each other
• Strengthen your relationship by identifying your weaknesses and strengths
• Enhance your relationship

The Workshops are desiged:

• to teach and educate couples 
• to encourge team-work 
• to build on already existing strengths

The material used in the workshops has been widely used and has proven to be very effective in long term studies. Couples for over 20 years have benefited from using the education material from the workshops.

Are You Considering Marriage:

The program will benefit couples who are not married yet, but desire to lay the ground work for a good marriage in the future. Too many couples spend lots of time and energy on organizing a perfect wedding day, but few couples prepare for a marriage. Marriage Education starts right from the beginning.

We encourage couples, not married yet, to take the Pre-marital Inventory that will assit them to see how compatible they are. By taking the inventory the couple will identify the weaknesses and strengths that already exist in that relationship. This will give the couple a head start to see what areas they need to work on.

Two sources of ministries:

• Biblical Counseling

To set up a consultation appointment, please contact the office. Consultation can be done via phone or in person.

After initial consultation visit, counseling appointments will be set up. Couples who travel from far away will need to make Hotel stay reservations. On the avarage counseling is done during the week from Monday thru Friday. A couple can choose to have morning or afternoon sessions. Sessions are about 3 hours each.

Prior before couseling schedule is set up couples must get and fill in the workbook used for counseling and also take a test on-line. Please contact the office for any detailed questions you might have.

• Marriage Education
